Vintage 1950s "Cigar" Chair by GETAMA. Designed by Hans J. Wegner. The wood is teak. Original finish to the wood and apparent original wool Upholstery to the spring cushions. The chair was brought over from Denmark so it is not labeled with the usual branded Getama / Wegner markings. Great looking and great form. A classic Danish Modern design. The wood is in excellent condition. The fabric has some expected wear but is still in very good condition. The fabric is black wool and there is some sun fading to one side of the back cushion The seat cushion has a minor stain to the seat portion of one side. These chairs are going up in value.
