Sweet, vintage desk chair by GOODFORM / GENERAL FIREPROOFING of Youngstown OHIO. Aluminum propeller base with four good casters, an oilcloth covered seat and backrest, a tilt and height adjustment mechanism. All in excellent condition. Great STREAMLINE / Art Deco design. Originally designed and manufactured for use in the new SKYSCRAPER office buildings of the 1930s. There was limited if any fire sprinklers and there was fear of fires. Metal office furniture started replacing the wood furniture. Plus this was at the time of the STREAMLINE / ArtDeco / International Style. The chair just looks so cool.
