Light and airy. Very strong. Danish Modern design by one of the Masters. Ole Wanscher for France and Davorkosen (later France & Son). Distributed in the USA by John Stuart Inc. Teak Easy chair. We have two of these chairs available. Both have been stripped and refinished. One maintains the fabric on the original spring cushions. The other has a forest green chenille fabric over high density foam cushions. These chairs were designed to disassemble into five pieces plus the cushions. They can be shipped assembled or disassembled (less expensive). Measure 24.5"w x 32"h x 29" d. 17" seat height. Excellent condition. Ole Wanscher was a contemporary of Finn Juhl, Peter Hvidt, Greta Jalk, Poul Volther who all designed for France & Son or France and Daverkosen. Wanscher taught at the Copenhagen Scholl of Art and Design with Hans Wegner.
